About Owner, Brian Rouse
Brian started in the jewelry industry in 1990 after prodding from an aunt whose daughter worked in jewelry retail. He earned his degree in jewelry design and fabrication from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College under the legendary Harvey Stubenvoll.
Brian has always had a passion for diamonds, earning his certificate in Diamonds and Diamond Grading from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), which has set the standard for diamond grading worldwide. In his 12 years of doing sales and repairs in both chain stores and independent stores, he learned the 'facets' of the jewelry industry. When the opportunity to purchase an established local store came about in 2005, it was too tempting to pass up.
The doors to Bay Area Diamond Company opened on August 1, 2005 on Green Bay's west side. Since the company's inception, the store has grown to two additional locations: Black River Diamond Company in Medford, WI and Bay Area Diamond Company in Mundelein, Il. Brian is a community-driven & customer-focused owner and this is reflected in the way we operate.
