Jewelry Repair:
Our in-house repair shop can handle a myriad of jewelry repairs, most with a one-year warranty. We can repair rings, earrings, pendants, chains, pins, and bracelets. We use state-of-the-art methods, meticulous quality control procedures, and the latest technology (including a laser welder when appropriate) to handle your precious jewelry. All repairs are done on-site. Next-day service is an option for most repairs.
Custom Design:
Have something unique in mind but can't find it anywhere? We're happy to assist you through the process of designing a completely new piece. We'll work with you to ensure both the durability and the beauty of the design. You have the option to see 3-D images of all designs before any work starts. You can also have a wax mold created. The entire process takes roughly 3-6 weeks.
Watch Repair:
We service all watches that were purchased from Bay Area Diamond Company. We are an authorized retailer for Citizen and Seiko watches and thus can handle repairs and replacement parts for those brands. Battery replacement and band replacement/adjustments can be done while you wait.
We can replace batteries in most other brand of watches.
Appraisals:
We are happy to provide you with a free insurance appraisal on your purchase. For jewelry not purchased from us, we have an independent Certified Insurance Appraiser and Graduate Gemologist visit our store every 2 weeks to perform appraisals. Appraisals include professional photos and detailed verbiage including measurements, weights, and setting techniques.
Pearl and Bead Restringing:
Bay Area Diamond Company can custom-string necklaces and bracelets. Our jewelers can work with a wide variety of stones. These services are available whether or not the items were purchased at Bay Area Diamond Company. As always, we will clean your jewelry before starting the service.
Wish Lists:
We maintain wish lists for customers to make note of their most-wanted pieces. This is an excellent way for a significant other to surprise you with the perfect piece of jewelry. Create a wishlist with us!
GIFT CARDS
Gift cards in any amount can be purchased. They make ideal gifts for employees, co-workers, lovers, or anyone who likes to pick out their own unique jewelry.
ENGRAVING
We will gladly engrave and personalize any jewelry piece or watch. Depending on the piece, this is done by hand or machine. As a general rule of thumb, we can engrave the inside of rings and other flat surfaces (watch backs, nameplates, money clips).
Gift Wrapping:
Gift wrapping is complimentary, just ask! We'll send you home with a beautifully wrapped gift. All you have to do is present it to the lucky recipient!
