We guarantee she’ll love the diamond you choose for her. If she’s not 100% satisfied, bring it back to Bay Area Diamond Company & exchange it for something she loves more! We’ll give you the value of the diamond back to invest in a ring she loves more. This is our guarantee that she’ll end up with the perfect ring.

Exchanges:
Returns/exchanges may be made for store credit within 14 days of purchase. The item the customer wants to return for credit must be unworn, in good condition, and without need of repair. Special orders and altered items may be non-returnable and/or subject to restocking fees.

Items purchased between THANKSGIVING and CHRISTMAS may be returned/exchanged for in-store credit until January 15th.

Jewelry Check + Clean:
We recommend bringing jewelry in for inspection every 6 months to help prevent any possible damage or loss of gemstones. This inspection service is absolutely complimentary. If repairs are needed, we will get confirmation before any repairs begin. Schedule your check + clean here.

Appraisals:
We are happy to provide a free insurance appraisal on purchases from Bay Area Diamond Company. Appraisals on jewelry not purchased at BADC are done twice monthly for a $125 cost per appraisal. Click here for upcoming appraisal dates.

Custom Work:
All custom jewelry is non-refundable and requires a 30% deposit before the work begins. Full payment upon receipt of custom work will denote the client's complete satisfaction.


Trade-Up Policy:
At Bay Area Diamond Company, we offer a fantastic ‘Trade Up Program’. If you’re looking to upgrade your diamond, and it was purchased from us, trade up with us! We’ll buy back your current diamond for the price it was purchased for, and give you that money to invest in a more beautiful diamond. 

The original diamond must have been purchased from Bay Area Diamond Company. The upgraded diamond must be at least $1 more in value than the original diamond. You will receive the cost of the diamond back as a credit toward your upgrade. 

Layaway:
Merchandise can be placed on layaway with the amount of 25% or more of the purchase price for a period not to exceed 3 months. One-fourth of the layaway amount is to be paid in each of the next three months. Alterations & adjustments (such as ring sizing) will be made after the balance has been paid off. Most alterations can be done the same day or within a few days. If you would like us to continue to hold your item after is it paid off, we'd be happy to hold it in our safe until you are ready to take possession. 

If a layaway is canceled, the amount deposited less a 10% restocking fee will be issued as in-store credit. If the restocking fee is greater than the amount deposited, the difference must be paid by the customer.

The original deposit and all subsequent payments will be forfeited if non-payment for 3 consecutive months occurs

Gift Cards:
We offer gift cards in any denomination. We always keep information on file, just in case the recipient has lost their gift card. Gift cards never expire.
