Our ever-popular, FOURTH annual hunt for ‘the box’ is back, and it’s rebranded! Here’s an explanation of the ‘Bay Area Diamond Company Treasure Hunt’ and how YOU can play this year during our three week wintertime series. 

Starting on a Friday (Jan 19th, Jan 26th, Feb 2nd), the Bay Area Diamond Company 'Treasure Box’ will be placed in a secret location somewhere around the Bay Area. We'll release one cryptic and puzzling clue each day at 11am via email, Instagram, & our website as to the whereabouts of the treasure. You can also stop into Bay Area Diamond Company, try on a piece of jewelry, and receive a clue a day in advance. 

The stealthy individual who solves the clues and hunts down the box has their option of a dazzling his or hers' piece from Bay Area Diamond Company. Talk about a treasure hunt!

Because this is a three week series, the treasure will be in 3 different locations, have 3 different sets of clues, and have 3 separate prizes.  There are seven clues (or 7 days) to find each week’s treasure. We’ll share an announcement when the box each week. The next weeks clues/location will start the upcoming Friday.

Ways to receive the daily clues:

Via Email: 
The clue of the day will be sent at 11am via email until the box is found.
  - Subscribe to our email at the very bottom of this page where it says 'Our Newsletter'. (Please give us 24 hours to get you on our email list.)

Via Instagram: 
The clue of the day will be posted to our Instagram (@bayareadiamondco) at 11am until the box is found.

Via Website: 
The clue of the day will be updated on our website at 11am until the box is found.

OR you can stop in store, try on a piece of jewelry, and receive a clue a day in advance!
- note we are closed on Sundays

Box 1, clue 1: Friday, January 19th (released at 11am)
Box 1, clue 2: Saturday, January 20th (released at 11am)
Box 1, clue 3: Sunday, January 21st (released at 11am)
Box 1, clue 4: Monday, January 22nd  (released at 11am)
 …… etc. until the box is found


Box 2, clue 1: Friday, January 26th (released at 11am)
Box 2, clue 2: Saturday, January 27th (released at 11am)
…… etc. until the box is found


Box 3, clue 1: Friday, February 2nd (released at 11am)
Box 3, clue 2: Saturday, February 3rd (released at 11am)
…… etc. until the box is found

Rules

- A person can only win once per year
- Seeker must bring Treasure Box back to BADC within 3 hours of finding
- Seeker must pay taxes on their treasure
- Seeker must pay for any resizing / modifications of their treasure
